Who can participate in the Stop UC study?

To take part in the Stop UC study, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Male or non-pregnant, non-lactating female
  • Have mildly to moderately active ulcerative colitis
  • No more than 15 consecutive days of immunosuppressive therapy or corticosteroids within 30 days prior to therapy

If you think you are experiencing symptoms of ulcerative colitis but have not yet been diagnosed, you may still qualify for the study.

According to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, 20% of people with ulcerative colitis have a close relative who is also living with the condition. If you know of someone currently living with ulcerative colitis, they may be eligible to participate in this study as well.
